Question 6. So, to convert these, I need to extract the new Cata models. Aren't these models partially patched by blizzard's new system?
Answer: Yes, they are, and so you need to use the latest version of Ladik's MPQ editor. It has a utility for adding patch data upon extract. To use this utility: 1. Go to File -> open MPQ with options. 2. Pick art.MPQ and click open. 3. Click "Patched mode". 4. Click "add MPQ", and add all wow-update patches. 5. Click ok, and it will compile the sum of those MPQs. 6. Extract all M2, skin, and .anim files of whatever character model you wish to edit. You will need to repack these with the modified M2.

i use TP's Hi-Res Model Tool TPModelTweaker3_R2 import & export mods.
if those mod works well in wow3.08 my mod supose works in wow3.08. it work well in People's Republic of China's w0w Servers. but it's still wow3.05 in china. so i can not Test the mods in wow3.08.
I think the Chinese WoW is on the original WOTLK install of model versions, so the female Nightelf will conflict/crash if the older anim files aren't used to replace the new ones, I did fix it for 3.08a but didn't upload it anywhere...
this mod is very good indeed awsome job any chance u can make bloodelf + high heels + shiny skin as for breasts even the Medium 1 seems a tad too big to me so if u can make 1 with a slightly bigger breasts, lets say medium small like a C cup or somthing that b nice , if not just do the heels and shiny skin for BE i would realy appreciate it if u do, thanks
It works for me, without any crash... i use the europe version of wow.
Do it your wone, step per step: 1.Open MyWarcraftStudio 2.Open common.mpg 3.Charakters\nightelf\female\ export the folder. 4.Delete all files exept the *.anim files 5.Edit the originial mpg that you download whit the frist mod 6.import all *.anim files the carakters\nightelf\female 7.Save mod. 8.Have Fun.
AND THIS IS MOD is for the 3.0.8. not some freeshards... when you make this step's.
