Okay, so i've tried and renamed my patches to various soundcache files. but when i try to start the game it just overwrites the file with a 1kb one and if i put it on ''read-only'' the game just ignores it.

the patch i am trying to activate is on 154 000 kb, i wonder if this mgith be the problem.

is there any backdoor that i can use for this problem? i have used the following file names:

SoundCache-patch-13164.MPQ
SoundCache-patch-13154.MPQ
SoundCache3.MPQ

i have also tried to merge the contents of the patches with my custom contents, no luck there either.

thanks in advance.

I see but if you once forget to click Fast enough then you better got a Copy of that file or else your back to this site and download it because of failing in speed Re: having problems with soundcache or forgetting lol.

Have you tried?:
Data\Cache\SoundCache-patch-13287.MPQ
Data\Cache\SoundCache-patch-13329.MPQ (High Priority entry name)

Try repacking the MPQ with a has of 8000 files. I don't suspect you'll have quite as many. Else raise it another notch.

Well I'm no skinner or know alot of Details But I do know the Soundcache 13164 and 13154 gets reset everytime you start the game to prevent I guess hacks? but if you replace it for Soundcache-3.MPQ it should be fine? Or atleast the Arohk Patch works perfectly on the Soundcache-3.MPQ (cause it does not gets reset)
