I wouldn't recommend moving your entire wow directory to the recycling bin. When you install wow, what does it look for to tell if an installation already exists? Probably wow.exe. I'd simply try renaming that file to something random first, and maybe moving your wow folder somewhere other than the default install directory.

Do we even have to put it in the bin, cant you just download classic and rename it before install. Oh and yes I meant download. My wow disc doesnt work anymore for some reason.

I haven't tried that. But I fear if you did it then the files would be overwriting each-other over and over.

Does the recycling bin empty itself? Well, I don't think it does. I've been doing this for a few weeks. It's been working for me, and everyone else as it seems.

I guess the idea of flip-flopping folders from the bin is a bit weird, but hell, it works does it not?

I have, it works it seems, it doesnt ask to overwrite, but My classic wow wont install fully either place I put it... could be cause I do the download not the cd say's it cant rename a folder or 2.
