Noone can guarantee you won't get banned, but Blizz has done several things recently which indicates they're "inofficially approving, officially disapproving" sort of.

If you blabber about it and brag to your buds and someone tells Blizz, well, you're screwed. Otherwise you should be fine.

Personally I've been using pretty much every mod here in the real game for over a year and nothing's happened to me.

Still working fine for me as well. Another thing u should do is make sure u remove all mod files from ur data folder b4 u install any offical W0W patch or expansion as they oftain try to merge the mod files as well & can corrupt your game.

I'm sorry if this has been asked, bu i may have missed it in 116 pages... so if someone could point me to the location, that would be great. I saw a few posts back that someone had combined a few of the patches into 1 and then renamed... what did you use to combine them and how did you do it? (is it idiot-proof to do it?)

yea i know how ya feel m8, i also got a rogue as a main (not lvl 70 but lvl 55, but still).
and i also noticed that most of the tbc daggers are caster daggers, and the ones made for rogues are junk (at least the green ones, dunno about blue or epic).

but still, WoW has good and bad moments, they always try to get it balanced and it will never be balanced. just have to wait a bit for things to adjust.

1 good side though, after lvl 66 the tables are turned for rogues and locks, then finaly we will have the advantige ^-~
