if you can find it in Modelviewer, you can Extract the texture(s)

Will not work at all. I put the file exactly as I found it in the Data folder of the WoW directory as patch-L.MPQ, and nothing is coming up. |

I did give credits to the artists in my original post. Most pictures were taken from deviant art. If you want to see more, go there or simply google the names of the artists I listed. That's the way I usually find pictures of interest. |

Argh, If this is a whole model, I'm not going to change it. But thanx for the hint anyway. Had already searched those folders and haven't found .blp's in there with the wanted banner. Always wondered about the 3 missing hordebanners, but if those are stuck in a whole model, I'll let my hands of them. |

Weird, it works fine with my machine. Did you keep the file as mpq? Or did you extract it to a folder under a mpq? It has to be patch-L.MPQ in the wow/data folder as file, not as folder, otherwise the placeholder loading screen with the dwarf on a griffon will appear. |

-did some finetuning on the banners and pennants -added paintings for cataclysm (goblin & worgen) -added new description on how to use patches with WoW 4.03 Yes, it's a bit tricky to play with custom patches these days. Noone knows how long it will last. If you want to learn more about it, read the other posts in this forum and stay tuned. |
