who has played Gothic 1 and 2 ever know that a Gothic 3 eingebust has a lot of old charm - just like Gothic 4 has Risen from Gothic 1 and 2, absolutely nothing what software worth mentioning - the few old Charaktare found in Gothic 4, can own absolutely nothing to contribute to the atmosphere, the crafting is a disaster, the struggles are grottenschlecht - there is simply no longer Gothic, pure disfigurement of the name.

So I am giving with Arcania're right, but in Risen I recognized pretty much every corner Gothic. Of course it can not officially play in the same universe, but there are constantly references and the style reminiscent of PB just to Gothic.
While it is true only the Risen mittelmauig is, but this is only on the last two chapters. Before that, the game really well and comes back and ran again really Gothic.

risen to the topic, ... that's the poblem here

risen is the principle as gothic 3 was a flop direction in this that you realize just - the programmers had grbraucht more time - in other words - in the beginning you think is GEIL - are the first quests, chapter well thought out and the longer the woof of the more idiotic and executed claps has it all - absolutely opposed to gothic 1 and 2 - were from beginning to end simply captivating and you received a 100% ready to play - unlike gothic3, risen - tjo and gothic 4, I have not even caught on - mind you - gothic 4, I've bought myself no longer have

In Gothic3 PB had actually not too little about all the time. They have taken over with her little studio simply, they just wanted too much.

If Risen I do not really believe it was also the time, even if you're quite right with your criticism. At least I do not think it much better with more time to become true. I hope these points Risen2 better.

Hope dies last, but whether Risen has 2 really a better story that tie you to the end, remains doubtful. I do not believe that this is due to the development time so much longer could the development of 2 Part Gothic and the pitch black night have not even taken!

So in my opinion the graphics very well the world is already a little lifeless. Although one hears a lot of noises but does not belong to the critters. Otherwise, I am sorry that some role-playing elements have been taken out or no effect any more.
The game is something for beginners as there are no real challenges.
Compared to the Risen stand it apart from better graphics was not.
