Now that we can just create folders with patch names and put what we want in them, is there an image viewer that can open BLP files?

It's not a really big deal if there are none; I can always convert them to PNG and use Irfanview to see them all.

IrfanView can in fact see blp files, you just need the formats plugin

Go to plugins, download the formats.zip archive and extract it into the plugins folder:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\IrfanView\Plugins\"
or wherever you installed it.

Whether or not it's worth a damn for converting files, I have no idea, but you can most definitely see them.

There is BLP converter(s) which could be locked to the file extension, and when you hit enter a .png will apear (as simpe as that)

there are BLP pre-viewers that works for Windows and Mac
thise will have the .Blp file show it self as a icon like any know picture file would have done in a folder

Do i use this myself?: yes.
and i have done since the Windows version avalible, i have even mentioned them a few times.
