Hello, Hello, Ive been model changing since mid Blackwing Lair. And as such i am here to give you guys a warning, i just got Permanently banned, (account closed aswell), For model changing from night elf into human till wotlk, and from then using redaxles Human model, so I just thought id like you give you guys a heads up, even though blizz wouldent tell me exactly what caused the ban, It could only be the model change, as i had nothing else running, no viruses, or anything.

Best of luck, hope none of you recieve the short end of the stick like i did!

Sorry, im no troll, I got no warning, and i sent them 5 mails and they would not tell me what actually got me banned, only the rough area, with the hacks and what not, belive me or not, i just wanted to let you guys know

Also, Account was Closed, and i am still banned when i try to log on just to check, It says "This World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use. Please go to [http://www.wow-europe.com/en/misc/banned.html] For further information."
Im pretty sure it was the model change, cause i was running nothing else, and i dont use curse client, and never have, or used any programs like it either, In a sense i guess this is a good time for me to quit ^^
Whatever happened you will be able to see it in the mail you recive by them
"Model Edit" "Gold Seller" "buying from Gold Sellers" "Spam/harssment" "Major Exploiting" or alike they will let you know
anything else is just odd

If you have anything else to add PM me.

You sure it was the model change? Were you running any addons or addon clients that may have come into question by accidentally interfering? A guildie of mine recently got banned for "third party programs" when all he had was the Curse client and a few addons installed through it.

i rarely post here but i can definitely say that they will never ban you without good cause or without giving a decent reason. I can't say how i know this because of a certain signed agreement i have with a certain company. Make sure the email you received addressed you by name and not just as "Dear Player" or "Greetings". Even if you call the customer service line you can talk to someone and see what happened with the account as long as you can confirm that it is in fact yours.

hope this helps.

Every banning is accompanied by an e-mail detailing at least in minimal detail, why you were banned. If "Blizz won't say why!" then you haven't been banned, and this is either a very poor troll, or someone of whom has been hacked and had their account closed by the hacker.

Indeed it does sounds odd
none the less i think there is more to it then we was told

as it could be a hacker or scam
as im pretty sure Blizz would have stated "Model Change" or "Altering of Game files"

So basically a attempt to spread false panic, or user error :pThat could also be the case
