That's just too funny. Made my morning if I'm reading that models can be loaded again, I actually quit WoW cold turkey because of no model edits. INSTALLING?!
I've noticed the animations aren't really broken, after testing a model edit. But they stop looping after a bit, talking to an npc made her start her idle animation again.
My MPQ Extractor isn't giving up art MPQ files. Don't know if Blizzard built a lock into it, or if it's just too large a file for a simple program. Anyone with the technical know-how have any ideas how to get the animation files for Draenei, Blood Elf, Human, and Night Elf females, so I can throw them into my patch folder? _________________ "I am definitely a madman with a box." -Doctor Who

The answer is all over the forum. By going into your Cache folder (data\cache\), delete the SoundCache-3.MPQ and then take your texture-only MPQ file and rename it to SoundCache-3.MPQ.
lagstalker wrote: I have this issue too, ever since patch 4.0.1, I'm not sure though if it's related to using custom models, It's not been bought up on the forums here until now, which probably is a sign that's not that cause. What I do as a work around, is delete the Cache folder in the wow directory before I load the game, seems to reduce the amount of dc's significantly. If more people are having this issue too, please let us know, so we can determine if it's related to the use of custom models or not.
I have not had the problem of random disconnects. I have had random wow-errors and texture glitches though. I have on in the past ran into periods of time when I'd get disconnected randomly. I usually theorised it was my connection issue or I have gotten some sort of hacker program to force me to disconnect so they can record my login key strokes. =P The reason why I became so paranoid was because they came in waves. I'd get that bug for a few hours, or a few days at a time and then it would just go away by itself. Eventually it stopped completely(maybe because they can't do anything with my authenticator on). Anyway, I don't think its about the mods since I am not having that problem.
On the other hand, the long-loading time is normal and happens to everyone randomly even not using mods.

So there is some strong dbc check built in WoW and i am afraid that without someone with good programming skills we can't do a sh1t... Also i have tried to replace DBC inside of MPQ(original).. wow started and redownloaded that full mpq again...
Explain the kind of error you got. _________________
