BLPConverter is a console app (like an old DOS program), so there are a bunch of ways of doing it. The most direct way is to create a shortcut to it, and then add the -r option (I was wrong about -h, sorry) to the end of the path, like this:
After that, you can just drag and drop both png and blp files directly onto your shortcut and it will do the conversion automatically.
If you use it, be sure to use the -h option, which insures that the BLP will be in a format appropriate for clothing, even when using non-indexed PNGs (which are the kind that can have complex alpha channels).
well, i use Photoshop CS2 and save the pictures as .PNG, but the textures don't work in game if dont convert them to 'indexed Colors' first, but here, the half transparent parts get all lost whit indexed colors. As now the are saved as R/G/B so the transpat parts workright.
I have WoW Image Converter 0.991, , could that be the problem? or is .PNG the wrong file format at all? _________________
